I'll overwhelm 'credible boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be shown live on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming bout.

Former twice world boxing king Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami venue on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

Despite these statements, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Paul instead targeted former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's biggest financial successes, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Disparity

As the two fighters participated in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is really happening.
